The Stoughton boys swimming team won eight events on its way to earning a 101-69 Badger East Conference dual win over Fort Atkinson on Tuesday, Nov. 30, at Stoughton High School.

In the first varsity event of the night, Matt Eppler, Owen Lehman, Jordan Barthuly and Dylan Williamson teamed up for a first-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1 minute, 50.35 seconds.

The same group took first in the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:39.00.

Evan Schmidt won the Vikings’ first individual event of the night with a time of 23.79 in the 50 free.

In the 100 butterfly, Eppler finished first with a time of 1:03.78. Barthuly clocked in at 1:04.91 in the 100 backstroke, good for first place.

In the final event of the night, Julian Callender, Josh Phillips, Max Mueller and Schmidt won the 400 free relay with a time of 3:47.92.

Individual runner-up finishes for the Vikings included Parker Hously (200 free, 2:18.69 and 500 free, 6:26.31), Mueller (200 IM, 2:39.81), Williamson (50 free, 24.74) and Phillips (100 free, 59.76).
