The Stoughton boys swimming team defeated Jefferson/Cambridge 121-46 in a nonconference dual on Tuesday, Jan. 18, at Jefferson High School.

The Vikings won nine of 11 events and had eight different swimmers earn first-place finishes.

In the first event of the night, Matt Eppler, Julian Callender, Owen Lehman and Dylan Williamson teamed up for a first-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1 minute, 52.02 seconds.

In the first individual event of the night, Callender won the 200 free with a 2:03.73. That was followed up with Josh Phillips winning the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:27.46.

In the 100 butterfly, Max Mueller clocked in at 1:17.46 to win the event. Lehman finished first in the 500 free with a time of 5:39.75. In the 200 free relay, Williamson, Phillips, Callender and Evan Schmidt won with a time of 1:39.94. Schmidt also took first in the 100 backstroke and 100 breaststroke with times of 57.28 and 1:10.23, respectively.

In the final event of the night, Schmidt, Eppler, Lehman and Jordan Barthuly teamed up for a first-place finish in the 400 free with a 3:47.66.
