Junior Colin Quam placed eighth to lead the Stoughton boys golf team to a sixth-place finish at a Badger East mini-meet on Tuesday, May 9, at Lake Windsor Country Club.
The Vikings shot a 334 to place sixth. DeForest edged out rival Waunakee 294-301 to take first.
Quam carded a 75 to take eighth. Fort Atkinson sophomore Mason Burke tied DeForest sophomore Kaden Zinkle for medalist honors with 68s.
Junior Sam Hjortland tied for 11th with a 76. Stoughton was rounded out by senior Jack Kicera (89) and junior Colton Vinson (94).
