Stoughton Health partnering with Toys for Tots

Stoughton Health is joining the Marine Corps Reserve to help make the holidays a little brighter for families in need through the Toys for Tots program.

People are welcome to drop off new, unwrapped toys at Stoughton Hospital in the main lobby or the Stoughton Health Community Health and Wellness Center, located at the corner of Highway 51 and B in Stoughton, by Friday, Dec .9.

Toys for children ages 5 to 11 are especially welcome as fewer of those are usually donated. With the exception of bikes, skateboards, roller blades, scooters, etc., gifts should be $30 in value or less.

Online monetary donations are also welcome at toysfortots.org/donate.

The toy distribution process involves several nonprofit organizations and local school districts who can adequately assess the families who meet the spirit and intent of the Toys for Tots program. These partners are currently leading outreach to families in need.

If your family is in need this holiday season and are not contacted directly by one of our partners, call United Way’s 211 Helpline to learn about other ways to secure gifts for your children this year.
