Fireside Collective at the Stoughton Opera House

Formed in the mountain city of Asheville North Carolina, the band plays original songs on stringed instruments, intended for a modern audience. Following the release of their debut album “Shadows and Dreams”, the band hit the road seeking to engage audiences with their energetic live show built on instrumental proficiency, colorful harmonies, and innovative musical arrangements. Well-Being Screening

Starting at 7 a.m., Community Health & Wellness Center located at 3162 County Hwy B, Stoughton

Screenings help find unknown problems early on, when they may be easier to treat. Stoughton Health’s Well-Being Program includes a health risk assessment survey, health coaching, and screenings. The screenings offered include blood pressure, body composition, bone density, cholesterol, blood sugar, functional movement, and more. The cost is $35.

“Somewhere in America” - the story of Petrine’s quilt

This virtual presentation is sponsored by Livsreise-The Norwegian Heritage Center. This is the story of Petrine's quilt as told by Katherine Larson. The seamstress was Petrine Almli, a Norwegian immigrant who embroidered her name into the quilt, as well as the names of many family members on both sides of the Atlantic. The speaker, Katherine Larson, is an affiliate faculty member at the University of Washington, Department of Scandinavian Studies. Gazebo Musikk 10th Season Winter Concert

Steely Dane at the Stoughton Opera House

Winner of the MAMA award for best cover band and Madison Magazine’s Best Cover Band, Steely Dane is dedicated to not only faithfully reproducing the Steely Dan and Donald Fagen songbook, but to bringing an energetic live-show experience to the crowd. Fifteen of Dane County’s best jazz and rock musicians have banded together around their passion for Steely Dan music, playing in the same configuration as the Steely Dan touring band including a four piece horn section and three background singers. The Foundation Sci-Fi and Fantasy Book Group - The Fantasy of David Eddings.

Eddings (1931 – 2009) was an American fantasy writer. With his wife Leigh, he authored several best-selling epic fantasy novel series. Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Site
